ABOUT LISA KUSSELL

For more than 20 years, Lisa Kussell has strategically connected individuals, nonprofit organizations and brands to one another, consumers, key influencers, and the media through experiential events, partnerships, thought-leadership opportunities, public relations efforts, and marketing campaigns.

Lisa founded LK Connects in 2017 to deliver this highly personalized service to a diverse group of selective clients.  Current & past clients include: Condé Nast, DoSomething, Infectious Economics, January Digital, Lemieux Et Cie, Maisonette, National Institutes of Health, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, and The National Board of Review. 

Prior to founding LK Connects, Lisa led strategic partnerships at GOOD+ Foundation.  In this role, she developed innovative cause marketing programs with global brands and celebrity ambassadors including Esquire Magazine, Gucci, IMG, KIND, Lionsgate, Microsoft, Serena + Lily, Simon & Schuster, SoulCycle, and Target.

In addition to corporate development, Lisa managed public relations and social media strategy, created the celebrity ambassador program, and served as a contact for key individual and corporate donors. 

Lisa launched her career in the feature film publicity department at Twentieth Century Fox before segueing to personal publicity. For more than 10 years, she spearheaded global campaigns for actors, authors, brands, events, lifestyle experts, nonprofit organizations, and television shows at BWR Public Relations and ID.   

A graduate of The University of Wisconsin-Madison, Lisa’s favorite coffee is from a cart or a gas station.
